The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation overcomes obstacle of geographic distance through sacrificial slaughters. It is bringing together the entire Islamic world through sense of brotherhood, sharing and the spiritual atmosphere of sacrificing for the sake of God.

The IHH has been hope and joy of living for Muslims who have lost their mothers, fathers, spouses and children to poverty, hunger and worst of all to negligence ad who have been living in refugee camps lacking many facilities.

The foundation observes the life and problems of Muslims on the spot and brings up hundreds of projects as solution to these problems to the agenda of charitable people in Turkey.

The Feast of the Sacrifice provides an invaluable opportunity to visit regions where wars, internal conflict and natural disasters rule, where people cannot not meet their basic needs due to socio-political unrest and chaos and where they need a drink of water and a piece of bread, but most importantly hospitals, schools and water wells.

The IHH carries out necessary projects to save people in regions it visited during the feast from trap of missionaries. In this regard, organizing educational programs, building schools and mosques provide locals with shelters to escape missionary activities. The fact that 800 people converted to Islam in Zimbabwe the previous year proves the significance of above mentioned anti-missionary works.

Our foundation is planning to reach Muslim families in 111 countries and regions through this year’s sacrifice organization and to turn the Feast of the Sacrifice into an actual feast with Muslims who have not eaten meat for years and whom have been left alone.

In this regard, we wish a happy Eid to our Muslim fellows and hope an end to hardships and deprivations in the Islamic world.
